The name or the word Delilah in the Hebrew means feeble, he that weakens, to be oppressed, to bring low, or to make thin. The name is prominently associated with the woman who deceived Samson into disclosing where his strength lie, however, when we look at the broad meaning of the word, it suggests that we must always be careful who we hang out with, and who we let into the secret things of our hearts, and into the areas where we are most vulnerable. Choose carefully who we spend important quality time with. Everybody has influence, some negative and some positive. Seek to find those who share the values you share, and who can inspire you to reach higher heights. DON’T TELL DELILAH!
