Bishop Dr. Orville R. Beckford Sr. is the pastor of Grace New Life Center COGOP in New Rochelle NY, and founder of ORB Ministries. Bishop’s passion for the word of God has been the influence behind his over 40 years of ministry. He has dedicated years of study to unlock the knowledge of the word of God, so he may impart this knowledge to other inquisitive minds like himself.

Bishop ORB believes in the unfiltered, unchanged word of God and the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has had the privilege of spreading the gospel in many different countries, where his ministry touched the lives of many and ushered them to become followers of Christ.

Throughout his years of ministry, he has had the support of his wife of 42 years, First Lady Deana Beckford. The couple is proud parents of Orville Jr, Delton, and Jaanai Beckford. Although his ministry required him in many instances to relocate, Bishop ORB has made his family a part of all decisions and they have supported his cause even today. Bishop strongly believes in the importance of family; he believes that a minister’s most significant ministry begins at home.

Bishop ORB’s dedication and hard work have led to significant achievements, a Bachelor of Divinity degree from NorthStar Bible Institute in Greece, New York, a BA from Louisiana Baptist University in Biblical Studies, and a master’s degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling. In 2014 he graduated with his Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies.

Bishop Dr. Orville Beckford Sr.  is a published author, his last book The Seven Churches of Asia Minor was phenomenal. This book explored the locations of the churches of Asia Minor, (As recorded in Revelation 2-4) their different characteristics, and how Christ revealed himself to each of the churches in a different manner. Bishop is still writing and looks forward to publishing many other books.
