It is obvious that there is a spiritual dearth, or a lack of desire for the things which are spiritual. I know we have changed our approach to the way we have done somethings, however, nothing changes concerning the importance of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. Every believer has the Spirit of God, it is he who has called us, and placed us in the body of Christ. If we have not the Spirit of Christ, we are none of his according to the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:9.
What is lacking today is a thirsting for the things of God. It appears that we are thirsty and desirous for the things that have no spiritual benefit. If we are going to be able to fight and win against the plans and ploys of the devil, we must equip ourselves with the word of God, and the anointing and unction of the Holy Spirit. What are you thirsty for? Is it spiritual maturity? Knowledge of God? Hope this podcast helps you to get hungry.
